If I interpret you correctly, I too remember pundits and fans alike calling for Ainge’s head. His strategy of stockpiling young talent paid off. If you ask me, he had a great plan and, with a little luck, executed it.
Sure would’ve rather had a Jefferson, Gomes, Rondo, West, #5 package, but that probably would’ve been too much.

...I think they need to make it to the finals this year to make it worthwhile. they went all-in more than most people realize and they’re fubar’d if they don’t get it this year or the next.
