We could be the Emerald City of Seattle, losing their team AND their draft position.

Durant could not shoot his way out of this reality as the representative of the Sonics at the lottery show tonight. Bottom line: it sucks to be Seattle right now. Even more than us.

But, a question remains...

If we had a competent front office, who didn't sign free agents illegally and make disastrous trades as well as draft choice selections, would we be as depressed?

Probably not.  There's talent at number three, but there's little faith this organization can make the right choice, having just given up a Hall of Fame superstar after failing for years to surround him with any reasonable talent.

So it goes.

...dat about the Sonics. I got an email from a Sonic-loving friend last night and…well, he’s doubly mad that they may not even be around. I guess getting that extra combo from Memphis was worth something.
