Billy McKinney Named Director of Scouting for the Milwaukee Bucks
From the Bucks' website:
MILWAUKEE -- The Milwaukee Bucks have named Billy McKinney to the position of Director of Scouting, General Manager John Hammond announced today. McKinney comes to the Bucks with 30 years of NBA experience as a player, assistant coach, scout, administrator or broadcaster. For the last four seasons, McKinney worked as the radio analyst for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
“With 30 years in the NBA, Billy brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization,” said Hammond. “I respect his strong work ethic and passion for the game of basketball.”
Prior to joining the Timberwolves broadcast team, McKinney served as executive vice president of the Seattle Supersonics and the WNBA’s Seattle Storm. Additionally, he partnered with play-by-play announcer Kevin Calabro behind the microphone to provide analysis for all Sonics television and radio broadcasts.
Congrats to McKinney. Who will replace him as the team's radio color commentator? Here's hoping that Kevin McHale decides it's finally time for a change of pace.

...isn’t his boy still at the U? I wonder if he would still be able to cash his sizable Pistons check if he took the analyst job. Do you think he’d have some interesting things to say about the personnel decisions on the squad :)
I guess Trent Tucker could always be trotted back out. Although, he’s spent the last 2 Saturdays on the FAN talking about how the Wolves should ship Al Jefferson to the Bulls for the #1 pick. I’m not sure how that plays in the country club.
