Will He Stay?

And will the combo combo be in tact at the end of the night:

UPDATE: The Strib is reporting that the Wolves are keeping the pick:

It is O.J. Mayo and just in case you wondering if there will be some proceeding theatrics, when cornered in a Target Center elevator by reporters and asked if this means the Wolves are keeping Mayo for themselves, assistant general manager Fred Hoiberg said, “This means we’re keeping him.”

Look for the Wolves to move up and take Ajinca.

I’m praying they keep him. The only deal would be for Love, so lets hope Memphis wants to keep him…

Gonna have to disagree with you...

Good God. If they keep him, the Wolves are officially the Detroit Lions of the NBA.

That's my fear.

It’s one thing to take guards with the BPA late in the draft, but with the pick of the litter after Rose and Beasley, you HAVE to get some size. If Mayo and Love and Lopez and Gallinari are a wash, then you draft the guy over 6’7” with this roster.

I think they bought the hype

Hook. Line. Sinker. Just like with Randy “Next D-Wade” Foye. They just seem to have zero grasp of the big picture. They’ve now used 4 consecutive lottery picks on off guards.

And when will I learn: they only talk about making moves in the draft.

Anyhow, they’ll get a crack at some size in the second round.

Watch...

...they’ll have a crack at size with Chalmers and CDR within reach. Completely backwards as far as value goes.

Imagine...

...a big guy or 3 at the top with Chalmers and CDR at the botttom.

Here it comes...

DeAndre Jordan at #31. “It’s like we got another lottery pick,” says Hoiberg.

OMG!!!

They took Chalmers?!

It maybe doesn’t make a lot of sense, but hey, I’m happy with the 2nd round.

There’s got to be a deal somewhere down the pipe for some size, though. Right?

Wow...

They could have had CDR and Chalmers after taking…shit…Lopez.
