I just checked his rebounding rates... they are off the charts. His offensive rebounding rate is 16.2%. 10.0% is an outstanding offensive rebounding rate. 16.2% blows my mind. Its in Rodman territory. And there are no "gimme" offensive rebounds. To get offensive boards, you got to want the ball badly. Apparently he does.

Thanks for posting this, I find it interesting if only because outside virtually everyone outside of MN talks about how the Wolves got fleeced in the deal…maybe that’s being called into question a bit.

sorry,
hit post too soon.
I just wonder if both teams didn’t do pretty well in the deal. I know Memphis gave up a lot and took on some bad contracts, but man, I really love watching Mayo play. He’s just a pure pleasure to watch – he can really play, and seems to try to do whatever it takes to win. I’m a real big fan, despite my limited viewing opportunities.
Don’t get me wrong, if I were Taylor/McHale I’d still do the deal because I really like Love too (plus Miller and getting rid of those contracts). I just think this might work out really well for both teams.
