This is the kind of
long-range shooting that could really help spread the floor for the T’Wolves next year.
He and Love...
..could heave 1/2 court shots. You know, that Purdue game really made me worry about Curry but his numbers are just too hard to ignore. I’m back to really hoping the Wolves land the kid.

If he didn't look like a 13-year old kid....
I’d be more enthused. Not worried about his ability to shoot the rock, more his ability to stay in front of people and do other things when the jump shot isn’t falling. I guess the question is could he be a solid PG that doesn’t get eaten alive defensively and is competent in running half-court sets.
So far...
…there are encouraging developments on this front.
He has a positive PPR while scoring even more than he has before. He is scoring and handling the ball like this while taking fewer 3pa per fga. He’s doubled his ast/fga number, raised his a/to number, and he’s getting to the line more per shot. He’s doing all of this while factoring in 33% of his team’s possessions. He’s even getting more steals.
I’m going to stick with my gut on this guy; he’s the real deal and he’s been putting up silly numbers while being the single focus of every team that plays him. If he’s on the board in the range that PoorDick notes above, I think the Wolves would be silly to pass at this point. They would have then taken two of the most efficient players available in the last 2 drafts. Exactly the types of players that could thrive around Big Al.
