No streams for tonights game folks..
This one isn’t being broadcast on TV by either the Wolves or the Grizzlies..Try KFAN.com to listen
league pass...
….has it. it’s one of the few times it is worth it.

The audio was a radio feed from Memphis Grizzlies Radio (quite crappy to have a radio feed coupled with a tv feed … but well, did see the game)

Anyone want to trade for Okafor?
This will go in my NBA update tomorrow, but might as well let people start talking about it now.
The Hornets are reportedly talking about trading Okafor to the Kings for Kenny Thomas. Ya….Kenny Thomas. It’s a complete, 100%, get-us-under-the-cap firesale move.
Which would seemingly imply any team with a giant expiring contract (like, say…..Mark Blount’s???) could trade for Okafor.
I would take him
Legit Center..Allows Al to move to PF.
Okafor + Jefferson + Love + Pekovic + Hollins
Seems like a pretty deep frontcourt…..But man, that’s a lot of $ to tie up in two positions.
by Rascal Flatts on Nov 14, 2009 7:02 PM CST up reply actions
It is a lot of money
That’s the con in a potential deal….he’d tie up a lot of our cap space next summer.
do not want
if he can’t make it with cp3 something is wrong.

PF – Hollins

Grizzlies
PG – Conley
SG – Mayo
SF – Gay
PF – Randolph
C – Gasol
the game will be joined in progress here
once the Blazers-Bobcats are over.
If I had a wish
It would be that Brewer doesn’t shoot as much this game. Don’t care about any new system/coach excuses, an NBA player should should not be shooting 36%. Or if he is, then he shouldn’t try to “shoot his way out” of the slump

I keep thinking
one of these games Corey’s offensive game will catch up to his defense. I think he has the potential to be great, but a long ways to go to get there.
his defense...
…really is top shelf.
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
I don't think Corey's offense will round out until we find a scoring wing to play opposite him
Until then, he just doesn’t have the luxury of being selective with his shots.
is it just me
or does it seem like Corey usually starts good and then gets worse, or is that just what will happen tonight?
on offense...
…he does but he’s solid throughout on hustle and defense.

it was a bit slow for me tonight too

He was 3-3 to start off last night.
You were a daydreamer, a sass-mouth, and, not infrequently, a bit of a gigglepuss. Somehow I doubt twenty years of amphetamines and failure have done anything to improve that.

Yup.
He really looks good sometimes and then the wheels just fall off in a bad way. He should just not shoot the rest of the night now….

it will last another 30 seconds or so

they should...
…beat the wolves by about 20 with their athleticism on the wing.
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
Man the Bobcats are inept...
only 33 points scored with about 8 minutes left to go in the 3rd..ugly
There is parity
then there is just plain awful. NFL seems that way more so in recent years. Now the NBA too. Knicks, Niets, Grizzled, Wolves.
Enough with the replays
Seriously, we don’t need a replay of every single Grizzly basket. This league broadband feed is terrible. Missing every single timberwolf possession.
no kidding..
…they’ve missed about 3-4 plays on the wolves end already because of replays
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs

Started
7 for 9 and up 15-7.
Ended shooting 4 for 10 and outscored 18-8.
All right, brain. You don't like me and I don't like you, but let's just do this and I can get back to killing you with beer.
Homer
Our defense collapsed when Hollins picked up his second foul
Pech can shoot the lights out, but man…he’s non-existent on defense. No court awareness at all.
And there won't be a stream..
the RWB streams have gotten busted by the NBA
Some beautiful feeds by Sessions
And as expected, Brewer has totally cooled off. God I’d love him to just shut it down after a hot start just so he can have one game where he shoots 50%+.
ok..
…they’re now cutting to replays in the middle of wolves possessions. this tv crew is awful.

To Bad Thabeet broke his draw
it would be funny to see him get trucked by Big Nate.
Still doesn't make sense...
…that they didn’t play together at all during Summer League – when the whole team was learning to gel figure out the offense. And didn’t Rambis just say that he had no plans to play them together just 2-3 weeks ago??
are you guys watching this live? i can’t find it on my league pass. DANG DISHNETWORK!

There is no such thing as "getting his shot going"
in Brewer’s case. Flynn on the other hand we need a big 2nd half from, because Brew blew his wad early. He’s done for the night offensively.
by Rascal Flatts on Nov 14, 2009 8:07 PM CST up reply actions
First we had the Randy Ratio for Moss
Next the Brewer Ruler: once he hits 50%, no more shots—even uncontested dunks.
If it's Basket Vs Uncontested Brewer Dunk
I’d give a slight nod to Brewer. A slight nod

REBOUND
Our defense would look so much better if we’d just stop giving up second chances.
The one thing we KNOW Love WILL help us with.
Well, just missed a Flynn jumper
thanks to this amateurish broadcast. Unreal.
Rudy Gay should not pass the ball..
…the rest of the game. There is no reason he can’t get into the lane and to the rim on every possession against the Wolves.

QUESTION
Does anyone have League Pass (TV version) and then also use league pass broadband (its supposed to be free with your league pass subscription)?
Anyway, I have regular league pass but cannot figure out how to access league pass broadband. I have League Pass through Comcast.
Last year, I remember being able to enter my cable subscriber info somewhere in order to successfully watch a game. This year, I can find no such interface.
Thanks!
Brewer not even close on that easy pull-up
Unreal. Now I’m just pissed. No excuse for being this bad at easy shots.
What? Corey made a shot after halftime?
The fact he consistently leads us in FGA is all that really needs to be said about our talent deficiency…
Poor NJ
Miami just really stole one. A Richardson 3 off the glass followed by a Wade 3 at the buzzer.
It's incredible to me that there is a team out there worse than us right now.
by Rascal Flatts on Nov 14, 2009 9:02 PM CST up reply actions
It reminds me of last year when we got off to that horrid start, yet still,
there were teams out there as bad or worse than us. It wouldn’t surprise me at all if we end up with the 5th, 6th, or 7th pick in the draft again.

most excitement this year
was Dallas sideline reporting asking which city is better, Minnesota or Milwaukee. Must have gone to the Palin School for Advanced Studies in American Geography
Damn, we should have been feeding Hollins the ball all game
He made some nice strides tonight. Which is pretty much the only positive in the game
Well, that was game we gave away...
Very winnable, if we had just taken care of the ball and rebounded.
3 days off before the Rockets
Maybe we’ll see some things worked out in practice before Wednesday.
This will be the first time this season that the Wolves get more than one day to rest between games.
Indeed it is
Also, I just noticed we have a -13.8 point differential. Nobody else has a lower one, and nobody else has a positive point differential higher than that either. Next worst is NJ with a -10.3. Things are not going well.
At least we didn't draft him
then trade him the same night. 55 is most impressive, especially throughout 3 quarters. But the more important issue is, will he make his team better overall. Or, is he another Iverson. Still, the Wolves have never had anyone who could light it up like that.
Well, he doesn't really have any talent around him to judge by
He could pass, and has been facilitating, but Bogut is the only other consistent scorer for the Bucks, so Jennings kind of has to be Iverson by default.
I think Flynn has the potential to be just as good, if not better, but I also think we’re at the point now of questioning why there’s just a disparity between them (and between Jonny and Ty Lawson). Is it the triangle? Lack of talent on the roster? Is Jonny just not as good as we think?
I’ll cover this in my update tomorrow so everyone can sound off.
I can tell you exactly what Jonny is thinking every time he brings the ball up.
A – Setup the triangle, run to the opposite corner, and play with myself for 15 seconds.
B – Try to create a shot for one of my teammates who then has a 30 percent chance of hitting the wide open shot I gave them and a 70 percent chance of bricking it.
C – Drive to the basket and get knocked on my ass with a 10 percent chance of getting a foul called and a 90 percent chance of a charge or no call because the refs hate my team.
D – If I choose the incorrect option or execute it improperly, coach is taking me out and putting Sessions in.
E – This sucks. I should have stayed at Syracuse where my team would have been top 5 preseason, and I could have hung out at the $15 million Carmelo Anthony center all day.
Good point about the talent
Whatever the case, it was a most impressive performance. He shot lights out from beyond the arc too.
that about says it all

Need to adjust it slightly.
Change D to E and E to F.
New D should be – Just shoot it myself from wherever I am standing at the moment.
