How are we all?
Just about to go out for lunch, so thought I’d drop in.
Judd: "...I've since watched some Steven Seagal movies and I realise that pressure points are no laughing matter.".
A Friday night matchup vs. the mighty Bucks...
(Crickets chirping)
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Doing fine, it's my birthday so the bride is taking me out for lunch
Judd: "...I've since watched some Steven Seagal movies and I realise that pressure points are no laughing matter.".
Game Stream!
www.atdhe.net has a stream…
The catch is you have to have internet explorer…once you click on the link it will prompt you to install sopcast…click allow on that…grab a beer and enjoy the game
IE? Ergh.
How about us Mac afficianados?
Judd: "...I've since watched some Steven Seagal movies and I realise that pressure points are no laughing matter.".

They practically give em away these days. You can stream your sports, and any other mature content you find enjoyable..

Bogut v. Jawai...

yes...Nice Quality...a little delayed from the actual game
which makes the chat on here delayed..
League Pass...
Has the Bucks broadcast. Making Hanneman look good so far…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Yes this guy is an idiot..
I have league pass as well..I’m Blacked out though..really strange
Nice Board and follow Stewie!!!
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Jennings and Warrick
I think that’s about all they got in terms of scoring with Redd down, no?
Jawai not Hollins?
Things look a lot better when the shots go in, don’t they
Telly Hughes!!!
He still has a job???
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Just pairing is minutes up with Sessions...
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
WOW...
The Bucks shooting is worse than ours!!!
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Kevin Martin out for 2 months after Getting Surgery on his wrist
Huge Blow to the Kings.
hollins is an insane athlete

And Lebron is going off on the Knicks
he has 19 points already as the Cavs are leading the Knicks 40-21 at the end of the 1st..unreal
Great putback by Hollins!!!
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Has there been a single NBA player...
Capable of executing a jump-stop since John Stockton? That play by Sessions was terrible…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Good call...
He was great at it..then hitting the open jumper when the pass wasn’t there…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
David Kahn has made good on his promise so far
This team is really entertaining to watch
That ref...
Must NOT have gotten the “2 Step” memo from the NBA yet…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
For anyone watching the Bucks Feed...
I was wondering if you could clarify for me and let me know if the Bucks shot 5 for 15 or 6 for 16 in the first quarter. I don’t believe the Bucks announcers have spent enough time trying to figure it out.
I am watching the Bucks feed...
And I’m not entirely sure they are watching the same game I am…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
they are an interesting duo

Can we get...
The replacement refs back?
I’m serious!!!
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Yeah
I think there’s been at least 6 offensive fouls in the first 18 minutes, the pace of this game stinks.
agreed...
…and it’s driven by a surprising amount by the refs
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
Whats so baffling...
There is nothing to “manage” in this game. No grudges, no superstars, no nothing…just call it as it is….
But no…the ego of NBA refs strikes again…even after Stern made all of them his bitch.
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
how was that a foul on the bucks?
wow…make up call right away on the wolves. amazing refs. truly amazing.

Hear that???
That is the sound of Brandon Jennings shooting % crashing back to earth…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Al Jefferson hits Bogut in the face..
…and the Bucks get T’d up. Awesome refs. Here comes a make up call.

yes but...
He looks like he’s about half as efficient in the high post
This game is kind of spooky...
Like watching us play ourselves.
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
btw...
…i’m stealing that for the wrap up ;)

Just don't quote me as saying...
Playing “with” ourselves…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Thankfully...
We’re the “A” squad tonight, and the Bucks are the “B.”
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
The Knicks are the
Q squad. They are currently showing LeBron how stupid he would have to be to sign there.

Suns-Celtics is incredibly entertaining for anyone with League Pass...
Definitely the Suns pace right now…

At least he does it creatively...
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Me too...
And I really see Rubio’s game translating to his. That’s why I hope we never deal him…
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Not so sure about the shooting part, but his passing could be just as good
and his defense could be a lot better.

Nash couldn't shoot either...
In his first stint with the Suns. And that was after 4 years at Santa Clara. Trust me…Rubio will learn how to shoot.
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
Give me a break
You just don’t learn how to shoot like Nash. The dude is one of the best shooting PGs ever. Trust me.
by Rascal Flatts on Nov 6, 2009 8:33 PM CST up reply actions
OK...I'll give you a break...
I lived in Phoenix when they drafted Nash. I watched every Suns game. He was a turnover prone, non-shooting PG just like Jonny Flynn and RR are now. And he was 21 at the time.
Why do you think the Suns let him go to Dallas?
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
So therefore there is hope for every poor shooting PG in the world!
The exception becomes the rule.

I'm having a hard time figuring out...
If you’re making a point. What is your position in Rubio?
"I'm gonna make you cry...I'm gonna make you cry and dip my cookie in your tears!!!"
That shooting is not a strength of his and just because Nash
got good at it doesn’t mean Rubio will. Nash is the exception, not the rule.

My favorite moment of the last week: My GF looking up at the TV during the Suns game and saying “that guy is a basketball player.” I then had the pleasure of not only explaining that not only was this ugly white dude from Canada a basketball player, but that he was a 2-time MVP who is awesomely entertaining.
When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story.
holy crap..
…kelvin sampson is an assistant coach on the bucks. i wonder if he makes phone calls from the bench.

Especially on consecutive game days
What’s Boston’s roster going to look like in a few years when their guys start aging out? We’ll be just hitting out stride too. That will be some sweet, sweet get-back.
nightmare lineup right now
Sessions Brewer, Cardinal, Hollins and Pavs.
This game is hideous.
yeah..
…you’d think this lineup would be sniffed out on paper before it was tried out in reality.
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
Sessions has looked tight
Maybe it’s because he’s playing against his old team but he has not looked good here tonight.
Terrible quarter
Frankly, just an awful game. Nice to know they are still capable of looking this bad
Yeah, I thought they turned a corner in the Boston game
Guess not. This is a low point if we lose against an imminently beatable Bucks team.

Speaking of the Celts..
…Nash just daggered them with a 3 off of a double screen.
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
He torched Rondo..
…and went right around KG to do it. Nash has taken a beating in this game.

You know..
…I have the feeling that KG is going to get a retaliation for some of his BS this year. Someone is going to hit back.

That was a great vicarious win...
against Boston. Okay, yeah, I’m bitter about the non-call at the end of the game the other night. The season just started and I’m already sick of the superstar calls and non-calls. Give me at least the semblance of parity.
what was really interesting...
…was the non-call in the bulls/cavs game a night later.
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
lebron went to the rim..
….against noah and deng for the game winner and there was contact, a miss, and no call.
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
Even the Bulls kind of stood there
for a split second afterward, until they realized that LBJ wasn’t going to get the call. The ball went out of bounds, and the refs could have split the baby and given the Cavs the ball with .2 seconds left. But they reviewed it for what seemed like 2 1/2 hours, and ruled LBJ touched it last. So Bulls ball, and they won.
Brewer makes some great defensive plays
but often he is scrambling around to double or triple and ends up guarding the wrong guy or guarding no one.
bogut has destroyed him tonight
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs
www.canishoopus.com
Bogut is a great player
and Jefferson was just moribund tonight. He did take a couple of charges which I like to see, but otherwise he was pretty much manhandled.

Man, this was pathetic
How do we do from nearly upsetting the Celtics to being blown out by the Bucks? Especially after having the lead at halftime…
no love..
… check out the oreb differential. also, in this contest ridnour > sessions.
Forever splitting the Cheechakos from the Sourdoughs

I'm more concerned with the 11 assists to 20 turnovers
We seem to have a habit of that this year. Again, neither of our point guards facilitated for us.
I thought Jonny
did an admirable job guarding Jennings. Jonny made a few bad plays, but came on strong in the end. Unfortunately it was too little, too late. It was the other PG battle as SnP refers to above that we lost badly. Ridnour killed us!

Exactly
This would be my Cynical Dream Season. Play the good teams tough with the varsity, win or lose. Against the fellow residents of Lotto Town, roll out the JayVee team, with Flynn, WEllington, Brewer , Stewie, and Hollins getting serious minutes—or at least enough to come up juuuusst a bit short.
I'll never understand Wolves fans obsession with Aldrich
Is it because he’s from Minnesota? Because no one watched any college games except the final four? There are big men who have a lot more to offer and fit much better with the team than Aldrich. Cole is just a 7 foot version of Love….nothing he really offers that we don’t already have.
If we want to gun for someone in the draft, it should be Derrick Favors or Evan Turner.
A 7 ft version of Love sounds awesome!
intelligence, awareness, elite rebounding, passing, I think you have defined the obsession with Aldrich, if he’s a 7 foot Love.
It's only awesome if we trade Love or Jefferson first
Because just having two of those players is already incredibly redundant. Having three of them? Pure overkill.
Plus, it’d be nice to have at least one big man who can really run the floor…
Chris Bosh, anyone?
A seven foot version of Love would be perfect
As to the obsession, I think it is pretty simple. Wolves have been in existence since 1989. If George Mikan had come out of retirement to play one game for that team he might be the best center in Wolves history.
Similar doubts
I’m done being fixated over specific players in the draft in November of the previous year. Derrick Rose, Ricky Blonde…. Things happen or they don’t.
"It has come to the editor’s attention that the Herald-Leader neglected to cover the civil rights movement. We regret the omission."
I don’t have an obsession by any means as I’d rather have Evan Turner, but Aldrich will be very solid. He’s very coordinated and decently athletic for a guy with that size and length. Solid rebounder, good shot-blocker and he has a decent all-around offensive game with some rudimentary post moves and the makings of a good jumper. He’d be the best true C the team’s ever had the second he stepped on the floor.
I wouldn’t take him over Turner, but if the other good choices are off the board I think it’s good to know there’s another guy who’d be a great fit out there. It just makes the draft deeper.
When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome instead. True story.
can someone tell me
if Flynn was allowed to run pick & roll tonight?
or why the hell we don’t pair Sessions & Flynn ever? what’s the harm when down big? See if it works.
Here's Why
We’re 1-5 and just lost to a terrible Bucks team by 15 at home. Stay the Course I say
