Ryan Gomes ran this afternoon with his lower body encased on the Wolves' high-tech treadmill that uses forced air to support his body weight.
It was the most he could do on an injured ankle that has been diagnosed as a high ankle sprain, damage to the ligaments between the lower leg's two major bones.
He could be out two weeks or more, or perhaps no more than a matter of mere days.

Rest the dude
If some playoff-bound team needs a glue guy as a part of a package, I don’t want a gimpy gam to gash the deal.
Ryan Gomes: Flapper?
Nice use of “gam.”
I only hope he’s not wearing huge pearl ropes or Isadora Duncan scarves on that treadmill.

The locker room is not all that special
the locker you really want to see is the Gopher’s in TCF stadium. UNBELIEVABLE.
Also unbelieveable: The amount of parking they got rid of for TCF Bank Stadium.
You were a daydreamer, a sass-mouth, and, not infrequently, a bit of a gigglepuss. Somehow I doubt twenty years of amphetamines and failure have done anything to improve that.

High Ankle Sprains
Take time to heal, especially with ligament damage. I’d guess we don’t see Gomes until January at the earliest.
