Love back soon?

From ESPN.com

http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/news/story?id=4710870

MINNEAPOLIS -- Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love says he may play as soon as Saturday after missing the first 18 games of the season with a broken left hand.

Love was injured in the preseason and required surgery. Coach Kurt Rambis said after Thursday's practice that Love will determine when he plays.

The Timberwolves play at New Orleans on Friday night and host Utah on Saturday night. Love says the Utah game is the most realistic goal for his return.

The Wolves are just 2-16 this season and have missed Love's scoring and rebounding.

That would be nice.

In other news

LEBANON, Ohio -- Southwest Ohio authorities said former NBA player Kirk Snyder has been transferred to a mental health facility after being ordered back to jail for allegedly removing an electronic monitor.

Snyder pleaded not guilty by reason of insanity in April to felonious assault and aggravated burglary charges stemming from a home break-in. The 26-year-old was wearing the device while awaiting trial.

Warren County authorities say Snyder is accused of cutting off the device Nov. 23 and was arrested. Authorities would not say why he was transferred Wednesday to the facility.

A message left for Snyder's attorney wasn't immediately returned.

Snyder was the 16th player taken in the 2004 NBA draft. He played for four teams -- the Jazz, Hornets, Rockets and Timberwolves -- from 2004 through 2008.

Zgoda says he's playing tonight against New Orleans

and will come off the bench. He’ll play as much as feels comfortable.

Sweet!

He may hurt us more than he helps, seeing as he should be pretty rusty, but it’s just good to hear that he’s going to be back in action.

Will we still run the triangle?

I heard rumors that when love is back we will be moving away from the triangle offense……I am not a fan of the triangle since it takes away from the strengths of Jefferson and Flynn, but I was curious to see how love would fit in with the triangle since he has better passing skills and a better outside shot than jefferson.

On a different note hopefully with love back jefferson play a few less minutes and can let his knee fully recover he looks terrible at the end of games.

Of course we'll run it

It is only part of our offense, though. Love is a perfect triangle player – smart, good passer, good picks, mid-range shot.
There is plenty of room for pnr’s and drives w/Flynn. He’s rook pg. And Shaq, Bynum, Gasol, and Kobe had/have no problem posting up in the triangle.
We’re learning. We haven’t had our team healthy yet.
Give it time.

Because there are no fours.
