can the wolves include antonio daniels' contract in a trade?
I realize he no longer plays for you, but, since he has not signed with another team, can you guys include his expiring contract in a trade?
Or did his contract expire when you guys parted ways? I am guessing he is not a tradeable asset, but, does anyone know how the rules for that work?
I was just thinking, seeing how the the TWolves and 76ers are both struggling mightily right now, what if an Iguodala/Dalembert in exchange for a bunch of expiring contracts would work?

My guess is no
I’m not completely up on salary cap stuff (Google “Larry Coon”), but I’ve never seen a trade where a bought-out player was included in a trade. Part of the reason why they kept ’Toine 2 seasons ago was because they wanted to move him in a trade (he desperately wanted a buyout).

No
We had to waive his rights as part of the contract buyout.
Iguodala
Would Philly be willing give him up just for expirings? Have you heard something homer? Dalembert and Iggy are the types of players the wolves would thrive with. We wouldn’t really need to rebuild with those two. Get them midseason and could probably push for the playoffs this year. Defensive center and scoring wing…look into it Kahn
I don't think it's happening
Sixers just hired a new coach and obviously will want someone to take Brand’s deal if they’re going to give up one of their top players. They’re probably not going to blow it up in the middle of the season.

Also
they just signed Iverson, so they are not looking to lose… unless they think he helps them out there.
