I've seen a pretty good number of point guards play lately. Lawson, Curry, Flynn, Collison, Tyreke Evans (PG??), Holiday, Jarrels. All of them have flashed moments of brilliance in the last few weeks (except for Holiday, I just haven't seen what people are raving about). Lawson has really come on lately and keeps impressing. That being said, I think Jonnie Flynn has been equally impressive. These 2 PG's actually have pretty similar games - like to push the ball, drive to the hoop, play hard nosed defense, and score when the opportunity is there. It seemed like Flynn was responsible for almost 3/4 of all of the scoring in the Georgetown game. His passing was just sensational and he scored his fair share as well. He is the same height as Lawson but is probably 15 pounds lighter. That 15 pounds to me will allow Lawson to play a lot better defense in the NBA than Flynn. With the big dance looming on the horizon, how much stock should we put into these players performance during the tourney? If a guy like Flynn just lights it up, does that move him up to the teens on the draft value board? Just wondering what ya'll think.
