Every Little Step

Bobby-brown-my-prerogative-239516_medium

And here we thought that Shaddy could never be moved for anything but a toaster.  Who would have thunk it?  We'll have more on the trade in a bit but I just wanted to dump a few links on Bobby Brown, as he's something of an unknown to Wolves fans.

Here is his Draft Express page.

Draft Express even caught up with Brown during one of his workouts.

Here is his 82Games page.  (You may want to shield your eyes from some of those numbers.)

Here is his Basketball Reference page.

Here is his Basketball Prospectus card page.

Here is the Kings' Knickerblogger page.

And, last but not least, here is his Basketball Value page.  Please, use caution when reading. It's not good...not good at all.

It will be interesting to see if the team buys him out or not.  Certainly someone like Blake Ahearn could bring just as much to the table (if not more) than Mr. Brown.

Until later.

Chad Ford is pro-Wolves on the trade
Matt (MN): Any news of the Timberwolves? Or are we just waiting for the lottery?

Chad Ford: (12:24 PM ET ) They made a small trade today of Rashad McCants and Calvin Booth in return for Shelden Williams and Bobby Brown. It’s a good trade for the Wolves. They are also talking to several teams about Jason Collin’s expiring contract.

Most. Boring. Trade. Deadline. Ever.

Now I guess I’ll have to occupy my time with my family, friends, and job . . .

Wait a minute! THE DRAFT IS ONLY FOUR MONTHS AWAY!

Looks like Rafer Alston is headed to Orlando

Orlando sends a first round pick to Memphis and Forward Brian Cook to Houston…Memphis Sends Kyle Lowry to Houston as well..

and New York sends Nate Robinson and Jered Jeffries to Sacramento for Kenny Thomas.

Is our Bobby Brown...

the same Bobby Brown who did well in the Summer League with the Hornet’s squad?

The one I recall thinking we should sign?
