New Blog: Anonymous Eagle covering Marquette!

I wanted to be a baller
until I reached the highest level
and realized that
you're only as high as the wind blows you.
You're not born with wings
to fly when you want.
They give you wings
so you can fly where they want
you to go. The rest without wings
only fly when the wind blows. Some
places more then others
some places not at all.
Many dream of flying
and spreading those wings so wide
and gliding through the sky
when realistically it's only air.
And you have no wings
only dreams.
Basketball in my eyes
was a reward for being good at something
and working harder to be the best
for acknowledgment from your peers.
Now it's about how much money I made
and how many highlights I have.
Pride will hurt us all.

Some people just seem to be living in like a parallel world. They’re here in this universe on this planet but on some level they just aren’t here in the same way the rest of us are; freaks me out sometimes…

Also … is he considering retirement or what? :D

I'm not sure he'll be the one...

….to decide the date of his basketball retirement.

Maybe he’s realising that and wants to keep the honor to himself … well k, enough Mccants bashing but he just asks for it…

Sorry, Solomon

I keep abbreviating when you clearly go with Solomon. I’ll remember next time

I actually didn't mind this one!

Kind of more somber and complex than some of the earlier ones that were posted. Anyhoo…
