Questions with Bob Sansevere: Wolves rookie Kevin Love - TwinCities.com
BS: With Jefferson being out, has it allowed you to become more well-rounded?KL: Al came to me after the injury and said, "Everything happens for a reason. There are going to be tough times the rest of the season. I don't know if we're going to win that many games. But there's a chance for guys to step up, especially you, because you're going to go from getting 23 minutes to playing 30-plus minutes. You'll have to step up and, at 20 years old, come into your own."BS: How do you stay upbeat?KL: Just keep working hard and keep the confidence going and just keep being productive by trying to help the team win as much as possible. If we give up a tough game and the other team executes and beats us outright, that's fine. But if a team comes out and really kicks our butt and we don't do anything about it, then that's when you hang your head.BS: Like against Golden State (Tuesday night)?KL: Yes. Absolutely. That was a terrible game.BS: Is there any light at the end of this tunnel, or is it pitch black right now?KL: I don't even know how I can throw a metaphor out there to describe it. It's pretty dark right now. We're stuck in the well looking up. We're just trying to put things together and be better for next season, be better for Al, be better for Coach Mac (Kevin McHale) and all of the coaching staff. Just be better for everybody who works in the Timberwolves organization.

I thought the most interesting part of this article was where Love says he thinks he’s playing out of position
I have to admit...
…I thought it was reflection on the use of metaphor. Can we call him the Bard of the Boards?
