Trade for Eric Gordon and Z Randolph?

We get Gordon as a favor for taking Z Randolph off their hands to make room for Griffin.  Randolph's contract only has two more years on it, so it becomes very valuable next year as a trade piece and he acts as a one year back-up for Love and Big Al.  We also get rid of the bad Karma of Madsen and his infamous three point shooting game.

I can't stand Randolph, but I might do this to get Gordon.

Maybe we can get Clipper fans to comment?

I think the best course of action for the Clippers

is to pay or buyout Randolph for 2 years as awful as it may be. I think if they decide they want to get rid of Randolph- what they could offer is draft picks.

The problem

is you’re giving up 4 years of Gordon for 2 years of ZBO. Although if they’re desperate for money this isn’t out of the realm of possibility. What am I saying this is Donald Sterling- I really don’t know.

He loves to save money

and that is the only way this is feasible.

dey arent trading Gordan

juss ta git rid uv z-bo, no way.

also iss time ta officially retire de nickname Z-Bo fo obvious reasons. iss WAY too close to Z-RO, who represents aything Zach Randolph duz not, namely hard work an tapped potential a-ha!

Lol Z-Ro is Right.

Dude you guys , as a blazer fan , i must warn you that you do not want to make a trade involving Z-bo , unless your gonna release him. He is locker room cancer .

From reading the “Trade For Greg Oden” Post , I Observed that some of you think that K-Love Will be
An all Star . Well Kiss that dream goodbye if randolph comes to minny . Like seriously he will ruin that kids work ethic .

Thank you

And that is exactly why we should not dothis trade either.

I just hope your management is smart enough to not take a guy like him.

Everyone seems to forget what a loser he is for some reason. But the cavs Have reportedly been interested in aquiring him .

Cavs interested in Randolph?

Wow, that’s a terrible idea. Are the Cavs going to overreact to their loss to the Magic by destroying the good thing they have going? Their chances of panicking have got to be driven up by the fear of Lebron leaving, the fools.

No they need a scoring big .

they are interested in rasheed wallace and Z-bo. reportedly

Rasheed would be a really nice pickup for them.

He’s a smart team player, a great defender, and still a viable offensive threat. Even having lost a step (which he certainly has), he’d be a big upgrade for their generally offensively-challenged frontcourt. He’ll probably cost less than Z-Bo at this point, too.

Idk the rumor i heard was 2 years at 10 mil. for sheed .

super spendy for an aging sheed. Maybe if they were planning on bringing on some other pieces . idk

THey are hoping the LeBron influence will settle him down. Doubtful though

I think it could work , it would be harder for him to screw things up if lebron is there.

But idk

Z-bo is No-no

We just got rid of Ricky Buckets, Mark Blount, Olowo-can’t-i, and the original McCants. We do not need more headcases or ‘could-give-a-shit-I’m-making-millions-of-dollars’ attitudes. Give me a D-leaguer who’s hungry before saddling us with Z-ro.

Don't like

We give up Brewer whom we haven’t really given a good chance for Gordon; whom I don’t like .. and Z-Bo; whom I don’t want because he doesn’t fit at all; no thx.

Love it...

I was hyping a similar idea over at TWB (per Andy B here). One of the posters from Cali said that Gordon is untouchable so I think it is a pipe dream.

If it could be done it should be done. Eric Gordon will be a star SG. Do any of you really believe Al Jefferson and Kevin Love are going to be turned bad by Zach?

The fact that the Wolves were able to trade Buckets and Blount says that Zach can be traded too. He is the perfect fit for a GM panicking too. GM’s decision making around guys who average 20/10 is about as good as mine around D-cup cleavage.

Foye's #'s look as good as Gordons

You dont want stuck with Z-no pass

by We-B-Dunkin on Jun 14, 2009 11:40 AM CDT reply actions   0 recs

Huh

Age- Gordon 20 vs Foye 25
TS - Gordon 59 vs Foye 51%

Foye’s a better facilator and a slightly better rebounder. Foye’s also slightly less turnover prone. Neither are what would be considered lock-down defenders. But if a team is looking for a floor-stretcher than Gordon has all sorts of potential in this area.
