You guys want to trade with the Blazers?

Blazer fan here. We need a backup 4 and a point guard, and it looks to me like you have extra people at both positions. What do you want from us in exchange for Rubio and Jefferson?

Let's make a deal! - Elgin

no joke.

What would it take from the Blazers to get those two players from you?

Or are you finished trading with the Blazers completely? – Elgin

Without you out there, we're nowhere here

It's not that we're finished with the Blazers.

It’s that you are asking for the 2 players who possibly have the most value on our team.

I can’t think of any package not including Roy/Aldridge that would get it done.

That's the answer I was looking for.

Not the one I was hoping for. But it’s the one I was looking for. Thanks Ishmael. – Elgin

from another fanpost:

> Blazers – Do we get Pritch-slapped or do they get Kahned? There are a lot of good fits here. Rudy Fernandez, Nicholas Batum, One of Us Pryzbilla, maybe even Oden…all very attractive assets. Potentially a good fit, but I would be extra cautious about trading RR to a division rival.

It seems to me that you guys could really use Przybilla and Fernandez.

Is that enough to get Rubio and Jefferson? – Elgin

uh..

You’re saying we trade Al and Ricky to you for Joel Pryzbilla and Rudy? Sounds like it could be among the worst trades in league history for us. The only way it wouldn’t be if Al never stayed healthy and Rubio didn’t turn out to be much. So, no.

and to answer your question

it would definitely involve Roy and I’d say Outlaw. one more too, maybe The Pryz.

You guys seem to be highly overvaluing Rubio.

Considering he’s never played a second in the NBA, is the number 5 pick (4 teams passed on him?) and he doesn’t even want to play for you.

WTF

and you are overvalueing everyone on your squad. I wouldn’t part with Rubio and Jefferson unless we got Roy, Oden and Fernandez..

Sometimes the obvious is hidden.
