Minnesota GM David Kahn plans to interview multiple candidates over the next month for his coaching vacancy, including a rising star on Nate McMillan’s staff in Portland: Monty Williams.
From Adrian Wojnarowski at Yahoo Sports. You can read more about Williams here, here (good BE interview from Ben), here, and here. Unfortunately, I couldn't find anything with his thoughts on running a two point guard offense. The last link features an interview with Williams after a Blazers practice and before a Wolves game.

Monty would be a great hire!
He’s an up & coming coach with a great knack for teaching young players. Not everyone learns the same, and he’s able to adjust his teaching method to the individual. McMillan regularly tasks Williams with teaching the younger guys the nuances of their position and how to maximize their abilities in certain situations.
He coached Portland’s Summer League team last year when the Blazers were running Bayless and Koponen (Combo/PG) at the same time. Not much of a sample size and the competition level was sketchy at best, but at least you know the thought of using two PGs at once has passed through his frontal lobe.
I believe the interview will be a good learning experience for both sides, regardless of the outcome. Monty will be able to crystalize his coaching philosophy and enhance his presentation skills. David Kahn will be able to pick the brain of a soon to be head coach on his ideas for a Wolves ressurgence. Personally, I think he’d be a great coach for you. He’d need an experienced assistant that shares his vision, but he’s got the goods to be a great head coach for a young team.
If he doesn’t land here. I’d bet Atlanta gives him a look as soon as they realize Woodson is useless.
