Thanks for this
the assists and steals are obviously impressive. Especially the assists, which are much harder to come by in European ball. We give out assists way more generously.
That 6 assists in 23 minutes would probably be more like 10 in the NBA.
What I also find interesting is how much higher these guys were on 2pt FG%. Were they just shooting 3s and layups?

I have edited the post. Ricky Rubio's 2pt FG% was 38%
Pretty poor. The lowest in his team along with Coby Karl’s with 38% too.
He definitely needs to improve his 2 pt percentage. By the way, last year he had 44%. He has regressed here.
Some of that
I would think could be attributed to his wrist injury that he was coming back from. Clearly wrist problems are going to affect shooting.
Thanks for putting this analysis together
Here are a few other important stats:
- Averaged 7.1 FTA’s per pace adjusted 40. That was 8th best in the ACB League this past season. That is a really good sign.
- Has never had a TS% worse than 54% in his four years in the ACB League. For the sake of comparison, Randy Foye has never had a TS% better than 54% in his seven years at Villanova and the Wolves.
- Although he isn’t a 3-point sniper by any means, he seems to make enough to at least pose a threat from outside.
He is clearly a playmaker for others first and foremost, but I think there are some good signs that he can create offense for himself too. No doubt that he probably has a ton of work to do on his mid-range game (e.g. pull-up jumper), but he appears to be a solid threat beyond the arc and in the paint. That’s a great start.
