I got invited to the Hawks veterans camp, so that'll be either late August or early September. And I also got invited to Minnesota's veterans camp. That's basically the camp right before you make the roster so that's like the last camp. And Charlotte wants to invite me to their mini-term camp so I just have to figure out where I want to be and then from there, it's just kind of of working out in between then.

a "Garret Siler invited..." headline would have been nice
As one of the eternal proponents for size in the paint, I am extremely hopeful that Siler finds a roster spot with the Wolves.
The need for caution is indicated, though — he slipped out of the draft. That says something when a guy with size and some talent slips by everyone. We saw a few good games from Garrett in the Summer League. Is that enough to give him a contract?
I say it depends on who Kahn signs on as coach.
Siler needs a ton of development and attention to become anything but a footnote in the NBA. If the new head coach does not have the bandwidth and passion needed to develop Garrett, the money, roster spot, and other potential opportunities would be wasted.
