Thomas traded

Wolves trades Etan Thomas to OKC for Damien Wilkins and Chucky Atkins.  Also sent 2 2nd rounders to OKC.

All expiring contracts.  Have to say at first blush that this seems like roster shuffling for the sake of roster shuffling. Splits Thomas' expiring into 2 smaller ones.  But I would rather have had Thomas if any of these guys are going to be on the roster this year.  I guess Atkins in the veteran PG role is OK.

All in all, not a move that I can really get behind, but obviously not a big deal either way.

Blah!!!!

I guess it helps some with roster balance. Although Thomas is the closest thing this team would have to a Defensive Center.
