Since the past two drafts I've spent countless hours walking the dogs and dreaming up trades the T-Wolves could make to balance their roster and improve. I want to start posting some of the concoctions and see what the board thinks.
For the first trade - we'll visit our most frequent hypothetical trade partner - Chicago
To the Bulls - PF/C Al Jefferson $11.0M
To the Wolves - C Joakim Noah, SF Luol Deng (combined $11.5M)
Why Chicago would consider this trade - They get a low post monster in AlJeff, get to shed Deng's long and over priced contract, and doesn't preclude them from seeking Wade or Bosh in the off season. Some points of hesitation for Chicago would be the "is he a PF or C?" roster issue Al brings, losing a rare athletic center in Noah, and replacing Deng's minutes with a quality 3.
