Ricky Interviewed
From marca.com
"I'll go to the NBA in 2011"

Long interview with good words about the Wolves and Rambis. He talks about staying in Barcelona for two more years, as Joventut is asking for more than he can afford, but if someone pays the buyout, he won't sign for more than two years. Some interesting stuff about all that's been going on.

I had a huge translation 80% done, then my browser restarted
So instead I’ll just translate the part that really concerns Wolves fans.
As a whole though, Ricky is saying that he wants to come to the NBA ASAP, but Joventut has declined every offer so far, so in that case hell stay and wait.
When are you going to the NBA?
I thought this year, but everything got complicated. In two years, when my contract is up, I’ll be free and able to go. If I sign for another team, it would also be for two years.
Kurt Rambis as given you praise from Minneapolis
I felt really well received there. Its a very young team and with a very good project. I fell in love when could really get to know the franchise. Beforehand I had been given misinformation
RIcky is playing the line here. I expect he and DKV will carry this on to the last possible moment. DKV will not accept an offer from ricky if they think they may be a better offer from him later on. So I expect that will continue to do the “I will play for DKV” “Ricky cannot play for us” dance until shortly before the wolves training camp and then all of a sudden DKV will accept ricky’s offer and he will be with the wolves. Why would they accept an offer if they believed that ricky might be able to give them more money a month from now. They would wait, so they will.
