Yeah, that's B.S.
Supposedly the list’s only criteria is “the likelihood that a team will win a championship in the next 5 years.” But pretty much every team listed from 11 to 20
11. Nuggets
12. Jazz
13. Hornets
14. Raptors
15. Sixers
16. Nets
17. Mavericks
18. Wizards
19. Warriors
20. Hawks
in front of the Wolves are teams that are in win-now mode with a talent base that clearly will never take them much further than the second round of the playoffs. They’re all going to get worse before they get better, and they aren’t good enough to win it all now.
Upon further examination, all the other young teams set to make a big improvement got their top 10 ranking. Only the Wolves and Clippers got disrespected.

The clippers will never be respected
Simply because their owner doesn’t care about winning. He just wants to get his money. In business we call that tone at the top…and it stinks. For this reason alone they will never win a championship.

Ours is definitely the more egregious snub
However, I still think the Clippers have a better shot than most of the 11-20 teams, in that the 11-20 have no shot whatsoever. For example, the Wizards are absolutely not going to win a championship with their current makeup. How then, with an aging core and handicapped by Arenas’s disastrous contract, are they going to make a move to put themselves over the top within a 5 year window?
The Clippers will always be handicapped by Donald Sterling’s cheapness, but with Griffin and Gordon on rookie deals for the next 4 to 5 years, a still-serviceable Baron Davis at PG, and imminent cap room, they certainly have a glimmer of hope. Sterling would rather be eternally bad and profitable than risk losing money by increasing his payroll, but would adding a big-time free agent to that core be that much of a financial risk?

I will Rec this
simply because of our standings!!
Blazers FTW!
Big D from Blog-A-Bull - "Pritchard is such a genius that teams just give him players for free."
Greg Oden - The only other rookie with more than 500 points, 400 rebounds, and 65 blocks in under 1400 minutes played. Since 1946
