Adding Joe Smith wasn’t the Hawks’ last frontcourt move of the summer. The Hawks are close to completing a deal to add veteran center Jason Collins.
If the Hawks are interested in building a former-Wolves big man corps, I know where they can get some Blount.

I'm staggered
Collins could get another contract.
So does this give us a shot at Garrett Siler?
Panic stations turned into happy land after we beat an inferior opposition like God wants us to.
You gotta love it when 10 minutes into the match you turn to the Hawk supporter next to you and say: "What the hell were we worried about all week?"

Without Ricky
The Wolves now have an empty chair. On the other hand, the Hawks only have eleven players signed.
The knock against Garrett would be that he doesn’t fit the “running game” model. But then, neither does Jefferson or Love.
Love and Al are essential to a running game
You can’t run until you grab the rebound and fire it to a wing. Love and Al do that. The PG, SG, an SF are the guys running. The bigs are the first step.
And Siler is nothing. I watched the SL. There is a reason he is a fringe NBA guy. There is no point whatsoever in signing him. No offense to anyone – just taking the view that we should only sign guys who can play playoff minutes for a 50 win team.
