After Reggie Miller stopped by to speak to the team last fall, legendary big man Kevin McHale spoke at the team dinner Monday night and was at practice this morning.
He's going to stick around all week to lend his expertise.
...
McHale, who somehow was let go by the Minnesota Timberwolves despite being a native son and doing a solid job building that team (and coaching it, too, at times). For now, he's just wanting to impart as much as he can to the Mavericks.

Building?
Seriously?
I don’t doubt the impact McHale can have on Dallas’ big men development, but let’s be honest here—the Wolves have been in disarray for many, many years, and that disarray can be directly traced to the decisions and choices of one man.
"Come on Eddie, let's get serious."
I agree...
McHale is a victim. Does anyone want to donate to the Kevin McHale Fund to help starving Kevin McHale’s?

Wow.
‘McHale, WHO WAS SOMEHOW LET GO by the Minnesota Timberwolves…’
Wow.
How did we let that front office gold go? We must be the biggest joke of a team ever to fire an exec like McHale. Seriously, I bet in another ten years we would have won another playoff series. Hell, maybe two. Dang it all to heck, why do we yokels have to screw up everything?

Reminds me of Simmons thinking we were close to being a playoff team last year.
Just goes to show, sometimes you have to pay attention to the details or you can really make a poor analysis.
Can McHale do to Cuban what he did to Taylor??
Please Kevin, whatever you had on Taylor, do it to Cuban. If McHale can wrest control of the Mavs front office, it would be classic. Can you see the contracts McHale could dream up along with Cuban’s willingness to spend mass amounts of money.
This could seriously be a match made in heaven for everybody other than Mavs fans.
