The New Orleans Hornets quest to get under the luxury tax line will come to fruition today when Bobby Brown is traded to the Clippers today.
ESPN.com's Marc Stein broke the story last night. Stein also was first yesterday to report about the deal that sent Devin Brown to Chicago for Aaron Gray.
First Bassy and the Rhino, now Bobby B? Granted, it was purely a luxury tax manuever for the Hornets, but why stop there? Surely we have other big contracts that the Clippers could take on in their quest to assemble the worst pieces of the Wolves' roster. Cardinal and Blount for Eric Gordon, perhaps?
And no, I am not being serious.
