Canis Hoopus offers no record prediction, saying they just want to see good basketball. TWolves Blog predicts 26-56, which would be an 11-game improvement. I’m not nearly that optimistic. I predict the Timberwolves go 17-65, which will be the worst record in the league.
I predict
the Twolves will double the 17 win prediction and nail down 34 wins. Boo-ya!

As long as Michael Beasley doesn’t invade Kevin Love’s rebounding space, the third-year forwards should have a productive co-existence on the Timberwolves’ front line.
“Kevin told me if I snatch any of his rebounds, he’s going to flatten my tires,” Beasley said. “The fact that I want to drive home, I won’t be doing that.”
Stop-n-Pop's Article
So now Stop-n-Pop’s article which was widely panned by people on here (but not stop-n-pop as a person) is now reported as being what we all believe as a website. That is lazy journalism once again and I think Stop-n-Pop thinks he probably was a little too critical when it came to a season preview.
The longer I have been away from Minnesota the more I see how negative the fans are when it comes to sports there and I think a huge part of it starts with the journalists. In most of the places I have lived the journalists seem to go too far in the opposite direction. In Oregon they think the Ducks are robbed every time they lose and if they don’t lose it is an outrage that they aren’t ranked first. Here in Virginia they seem to think the the Redskins are the greatest team in sports history and they count their wins early in the game (and then are outraged if the other team comes back and wins). In India they might kill you if you say anything against the Indian cricket team. In Minnesota if you have a positive outlook about any or all of the teams they think there is something wrong with you.
