Our Minnesota Timberwolves have excelled in preseason with contributions coming from everywhere. But this leads me to wonder, what happens when regular season comes? Will we be a team with consistent nightly stats, or will we be a streaky team that needs to rotate players to find who is hot on any given night, and keep dishing them the rock. So far in the preseason we can see this.
Kevin Love has led the team in scoring twice, and tied for the lead with Webster once, Beasley has led the team once, Webster has led the team once and tied with Love once, and Ridnour has led the team once in scoring.
From a Point Per 48 Minute standpoint however
This preseason Love has been leading the team, but all the talk is of Beasley taking over as our scoring presence. Will B-Easy step up and take some of the pressure off of Love to do everything?
I just don't see where our night to night consistency will be with line-ups because so far this preseason I have seen Wayne drop 22, Webster 24, Beasley 21 (twice), Love 32, Wes 16, and flashes of baby Shaq from Pek. How are the coaches going to balance roles and playing time with this roster and inconsistency?
And. . .. Who do you think will lead the team in scoring and why?
