Is Ager next?
The don’t need to make further cuts, but I wonder if they’ll get down to 13 or 14 so they have room for a possible trade at some point this year (e.g. send out 2 and bring back 3).

Roster Age
With these cuts our average age for the 15-man roster is 23.6. I wonder if there has ever been a team with an average age of under 24 years old.
Good question. The NBA site has some recent history on this,
and the answer is “some recent teams have been under 24 years, but just barely.” The youngest teams in each year I can easily find:
04-05: Suns, 24.329 years
05-06: Atlanta, 23.765 years
06-07: Atlanta again: 23.65 years (They got younger. Benjamin Button, eat your heart out!)
07-08: Portland: 24.06 years
Other sources said:
09-10: Memphis, 25.25 years to start the year, but (supposedly) OKC at 25+ years at the end of the season. The latter doesn’t seem like it can be right to me, but it’s in a P.R. pdf the Hawks made.
(Youngest team to win a championship: Portand, 76-77, at an average of 24.8 years.)

As I mentioned in a FanShot
Rambis apparently hinted to Jerry Z a trade might be coming that would leave the team with 15 guys not counting Ager.
