While rummaging through the Michael Beasley college videos on YouTube, I managed to stumble upon a video that shows two freshmen Power Forwards, both were the stars of their respective teams and both are shown to be offensive powerhouses and rebounding monsters (as evidenced by their stats by the end of the game).
The matchup was between Michael Beasley and Blake Griffin. Both are Freshmen Power Forwards and have shown their ability to score and rebound. They didn't disappoint in this game, both putting up double doubles and high numbers in points to boot.

What I also noticed was their game. Griffin is more of a real low post guy and really bangs around under the rim while Beasley has more range, stepping out of Griffin's low post territory to knock down the jumper, but he also sometimes drives to the lane for a hard dunk or a nice layup.
Both rebound tremendously well and seem like masters of second chance points. That's why they both recorded double doubles. Beasley's KSU beat Griffin's OU in this one, with Beasley getting 32 and 11 while Griffin had 27 and 14.
We'll be hosting Blake Griffin's Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday. Now when these two face off, I think our new Super Beas would take the challenge of facing Griffin again. And from what I see, these guys seem like they motivate each other to do better in order to beat one another, kinda like watching Wade and James going against each other during 08-09. Expect Super Beas to put up another Superman performance this week. And let's not forget to get that W!
