EVERYBODY GETS TO WATCH THIS ONE!

CHers,

Two of the most entertaining games of the last 6 years (which happened to occur within 5 days of each other) weren't even on TV for most people to view.

First the epic 31-31, come from behind win over the Knicks.

Then, the Beasley Clipper Beater.

Well, I have good news.

In case you hadn't heard, Friday's game against the Lakers is on TV, and you don't even need to be forking big bucks over to cable or satellite to see it.

All you need is a good pair of (digital) bunny ears that bring in MY 29.

Now, it's my job to get people to tune into programming on FOX 9 and MY 29.

So, it may seem a little lame that I'm chewing up a FanPost and your time by trying to do something self-advantageous like increase our ratings.

But, here is my justification.

Nobody likes trying to watch an illegal stream on the internet.

It's a lot nicer to see games on the big screen.

And, the reason more games aren't on TV is because the economics don't justify it.  There aren't enough people watching (and therefore ratings) to justify paying a TV crew to put it on.

If the ratings go up this year, you will have to put up with far less nights like last Friday and last night.

So, tune into the game tomorrow night.

I'm pretty sure it's some sort of ethics code for me to tell you to alert anyone you know with a Nielsen box to turn on the game.  So, I won't.  Ahem.

But, we've had six quality games in a row, the defending world champs are in town, and it's on broadcast TV.

Let's pop a number, and avoid future blackouts of classic Timberwolves games.

Cool?
