The rich can always get richer: Gooden Likely To Receive Buyout From Washington

I don't know if it's just me but this is something that has to stop in the league. If a player gets traded they should not be able to by bought out and return to their team that traded them. This always tends to work for the elite teams and then the lil' guys suffer. This whole scenario of the rich getting richer by screwing the lil' guy has got to come to an end. Anyway this gets reworked in the new CBA agreement (if they ever come to terms with each other)?

Anyone else have any news or ideas on some remedies?

Should a player be allowed to return to the team that traded him if he is bought out?
Sure, its only fair if they wait the magical 30 days!

Heck No!, this only really benefits the rich team that can maintain their loaded core of talent

I could care less

It’s not like Drew Gooden is the key to a championship or anything. The good players never get bought out.
