Kevin Love the Coach
It seems the moving of Al Jefferson is inevitable. Whether it's a trade sooner or later, rumors persist. Personally I value Al Jefferson more than Kevin Love, but that is another discussion altogether. Assuming AJ is traded at some point and the team acquires a young center in the draft such as Solomon Alabi, Hassan Whiteside, etc., does anyone think that Love will work with that new player? Let's face it. Love has all the technical aspects of the game down pat. Rebounding, hustle, footwork, passing, even post moves. If he had top notch athleticism and a little more length he'd be unbelievable. Right now he gets by on his hustle, hard work, skill, and moxie. My question is, would he be willing and/or able to work with an Alabi/Whiteside to improve them as players in those areas? I think there is a good chance of that happening, even though he is still just a 21 year old pup. Thoughts?

That
isn’t his job. His job is to prepare himself and improve his game. It’s the coaches job to teach the players. The best way to make your teammates better is to play hard against them in practice. That is all that Love or anyone else can do.
Yes
but when you play against them in practice they see the things that you do and often times players will give pointers. I know it’s not his job, but things like that happen naturally. I see KLove as being the type of person to share his knowledge (much more than Jefferson would).
