Cardinal for Darko Milicic?
Chad Ford reports the Wolves have inquired about a Cardinal-for-Milicic swap that would save New York a few bucks this year.
"Modest in nature" indeed, Kahn.

i read this and at first thought… WHY??? But now that i think about it. It’s nothing major and we rent him to ride the pine and use his 6 fouls if needed. If it goes through sure do it. But still I thought the “custodian” was a good fit in the locker room for us?

Maybe McHale Thinks He Can Make Something of Darko
Most of Darko’s problems are in his head.
When he wants to play and stays focused he is actually one of the better low post defenders in the league. However, the Pistons screwed him up so bad that I doubt if he will ever amount to anything. Even though Milicic has said that he will be returning to play in Europe next season who knows. For a two month look why not. A roll of dice to be sure, but there is no downside.
I can't tell if this is a joke
or if there are still people out there that don’t know McHale isnt’ our GM. With all of the trades that Kahn did this summer, I don’t know how anyone who reads the sports section couldn’t know just by skimming.

Hmm... what a let-down.
For some reason when I first read this I thought it said Gallinari (must be a Euro-name thing for me). Needless to say, now I am sad. Why are we doing this again? What’s the point?
Darko has talent, whether he has completely given up on the NBA is't clear.... said he wanted to go to Europe in December...
If we give him playing time and he produces maybe we find a diamond in the rough.
