Young Assets Available
Throughout the day I've been refreshing the espn trade reports page and while I like the acquisition of Milicic, I wonder if the wolves could be more involved in these discussed rumors. And maybe they are, I wouldn't know either way, but there are a lot of young assets, even on expiring contracts, that are being discussed in these proposed trades (Warrick, Alexander, Giddens, Walker, Wright, etc...) Are more moves in store? Should we even want that?

Frankly...
None of them!
Other than the draft picks NYK is giving up, there is no one who moved who made sense for the Wolves.
Kevin Martin comes close, but I’m with Kahn on his contract, age, and recent injuries. Not a great fit.
Caron Butler is probably my second choice, but I think he’s the kind of pick up the Wolves make when they are a tentative 8th seed (like the Thunder now) – not sucking up ping-pong balls.
Jordan Hill? Not a fan.
Antwan Jamison – love the move for Cleveland, wouldn’t fit in Minny.
Brendan Haywood? I think we should look at him in free agency, but acquiring him now doesn’t make much sense. It would also block Darko from playing – and I am curious to see that. I think it’s fair to say we know what Haywood can do, but there is a small chance Darko has something to show/prove.
Carl Landry is a player I respect, but the Wolves are already crowded at PF.
Agree
Totally agree, none of those names make sense for us. Our move to try out Darko is allright. We have very little to lose, and it sounds like it Cardinal clears the 30 day period, we may get him back. His contribution is in tghe locker room and the practice gym.

Any of the young guys would have been another reclamation project
but I would have liked to see what Warrick could have done for us as an athletic SF.
You still can
next season. Doubt the Bulls keep him.
Won't someone think of the ping pong balls?
Kurt Rambis - stop this insanity!
