The Wolves are doing their best to make Milicic feel welcome — and happy. Since arriving in the Twin Cities on Friday, the club has kept him away from the media and waived the mandatory physical that players must undergo to finalize a trade.
The rest of the review said Darko looked good in practice (against the Wolves' terrible practice interior D), but it's most interesting that Kahn continues his campaign to make players think fondly of Minnesota (see Daniels, Antonio)

I can only imagine
that Kahn annd Rambis see Darko as the type of player that we would like to put in the centre, even if (and it is unlikely) it is not Darko himself.
It’s a lateral move, but if my theory is correct, not the silliest thing we have done in the last 12 months.
Won't someone think of the ping pong balls?
Kurt Rambis - stop this insanity!
I like the strategy
even the guys who don’t command the respect of the camera, we can give them the respect that they probably deserve more than Tiger, Kobe, et al.
I still like the marketing angle that they are taking here. Player development as an aside here, but still extremely important.
I like the tone Kahn is setting with players
It’s kind of like Cuban in Dallas. You don’t hear anybody complain about getting traded to the Mavs, and they seem to want to stay.
