Hey Wyn...
“We were promised Jetpacks” are awesome! Thanks for the post in the Thunder thread a few days ago. I had always been a big fan of Frightened Rabbit and the Twilight Sad, but I had never heard WWPJ before. Their epicness is off the charts.
Glad you liked it!
They’re playing at the Varsity on March 9th, and I will absolutely be there. The guys brogue is something to behold.
Frightened Rabbit’s going to be at the Varsity on May 10, and I’ve heard I should listen to and see them (haven’t done either). Any recommendation on what to listen to first?

Well just your luck...
They have a new CD coming out this week titled “The Winter of Mixed Drinks” that I haven’t gotten to listen to yet, but their last CD “The Midnight Organ Fight” was awesome. It also featured two of my top 50 favorite songs of the last decade (my friends and I had a top 50 mp3 exchange). The songs are “The Modern Leper” and “My Backwards Walk”
Hot Jams.
Thus providing
the occasion for HoopsHype to run the headline
“Blount Free”
for its rumors page. I’m conflicted about why that’s so funny to me.
"It has come to the editor’s attention that the Herald-Leader neglected to cover the civil rights movement. We regret the omission."
Can we add in a counter so it reads
Blount free for # days now.
"Never make predictions, especially about the future." Casey Stengel
Eligible to join a playoff bound team?
Um, are there any teams clamoring for Blount?
Blount is wiping the Dorito crumbs off himself
and putting on his best suit…..
Ergh….

Blount is definitely in the running for
least favorite Wolf ever. He joins a crowded field of JR Rider, Christian Laettner, Anthony Peeler, Ricky Davis, and Troy Hudson to name a few.
I gotta go with Rider though I guess. Seldom before has someone with so much talent done so little for so many fans.
"It's tough to make predictions, especially about the future." -- Yogi Berra
Rider could be so vile
Threatening a reporter with a gang hit, kicking a pregnant woman…. J.R. stunk.
Except for that shot against Sacramento. And the block of Ewing.
"It has come to the editor’s attention that the Herald-Leader neglected to cover the civil rights movement. We regret the omission."
Doubt we ever see Blount III, The Rebound.
That would be the ultimate horror movie for a Wolves fan.
