It is fine for me. It periodically goes blurry to make you click an ad. It re-connects every so often, but otherwise pretty good. Maybe try reloading the page? Or try:

let’s see what sessions can do

by ChicagoViking on Mar 12, 2010 7:27 PM CST up reply actions

Corey at full speed on the break surrounded by defenders

is becoming my favorite moment in sports. Anything could happen. He could end up dunking on 3 guys, airballing a layup and ending up in the 4th row. Dribbling off his knee into the defender, back into his hands for a over the shoulder flip swish. Just pure excitement.

3 1st round picks, perhaps

won’t get any older, unless kahn makes moves

by ChicagoViking on Mar 12, 2010 7:29 PM CST up reply actions

I'd have to guess we will be by next year

if we don’t make any big trades. Jefferson or Hollins will be our oldest player? Wilkins, Gomes, Pavs, and Pech are gone…

we’re not resigning wilkins on a veteran contract?

by ChicagoViking on Mar 12, 2010 7:31 PM CST up reply actions

Based on that replay

I’d have to say Big Al is not trying on defense. I can almost excuse Jawai, who was on his man, but Jefferson spectated on that drive from the 3 pt line. Pathetic effort.

Sean Elliot:

“Richard Jefferson splits two Timberwolves for the agressive finish”

Again Sean, Richard Jefferson walked around a Corey Brewer trying not to draw a foul and was ahead of whoever else it was the whole length of the court.

by Mplax on Mar 12, 2010 8:01 PM CST reply actions

Oh Flying Spaghetti Monster

he just made it worse by replaying it with commentary. Corey Brewer was “trying if that’s what you call it” to get back on D (he was the first guy back by a significant margin so he had to actually slow down to catch Jefferson in stride. And: count the number of white jerseys that made it into the screen. Answer: The exact same number as there were black jerseys.

This is bad

not even just because of the homerism that annoys me so much with other teams (we really do have some good announcers in that respect, I’ve started paying attention since having to get streams… except for about Love of course) but just because he is THAT bad at commenting. Downright ugly to listen to. Insults the other team, but does so with insults that aren’t even good. And it’s SO EASY to insult the Wolves. At least pick something worth saying, Sean!

the 14-51 W-L, averaging 27 wins a year for the past 4 years, K-Love openly wondering what the hell is going on, possible savior not coming over for a few years, getting our GM from the D League, why didn’t we draft Curry instead of Flynn – these things loom larger to meself

Ok seriously why doesnt Wayne Ellington get more playing time?

Hes been one of our few bright spots this year, he plays solid defense and everytime he gets 20+ minutes he really influences how the timberwolves do. I’m sure if he could consistently get 7th or 8th man minutes he could make a huge difference. Oh, and hes one of the few players on this team that looks like he knows what the f hes doing.

Toronto at home is our only other game we have any realistic chance of winning. Six of the next 7 on the road. This is going to get ugly.

True.

We need to keep our best player in reserve to go against their second unit. And our 3rd best player to match up with their 9th player off the bench. We are sure to have an advantage somewhere in there.

what sessions just did

was what flynn did early in the year. get contact down low and still score. he’s not doing that now

by ChicagoViking on Mar 12, 2010 9:18 PM CST reply actions

Wayne is such a good shooter.

I would seriously love to see a starting lineup of: PG Ramon Sessions, SG Wayne Ellington, SF Corey Brewer, PF Kevin Love, C Darko Milicic… with Al Jefferson and Jonny Flynn coming of the bench to dominate the game as pure scorers. It makes so much sense…

by jordanmowbray on Mar 12, 2010 9:22 PM CST reply actions

we'll see

flynn, wilkins, gomes, jeff, hollins first

so sad and true.

who among us will make it?

by ChicagoViking on Mar 12, 2010 9:35 PM CST up reply actions

we will probably all go mentally insane...

due to all these messed up Kurt Rambis lineups that make ABSOLUTELY no sense. If this is seriously him at his best then i am truly scared for our future

by jordanmowbray on Mar 12, 2010 9:39 PM CST up reply actions

i would actually love him to start right away..

its not like we got much better at the 2/3 spots.. atleast it would give him experience right away… but knowing Rambis and his messed up mind i bet Evan Turner will be the 10th man or something.

by jordanmowbray on Mar 12, 2010 9:44 PM CST up reply actions

We will draft Turner

then trade him for a future protected 1st rounder and Darco’s first born.

by Kyleb_82 on Mar 12, 2010 9:50 PM CST up reply actions

hmmm....

A point guard that can facilitate, a SG that can hit spot up shots (I’ve always been high on Ellington as a shooter that can score when needed upside wise), a SM that can drive (albeit recklessly at times), a PF with smarts and rebounding, and a C with D and passing. Improve at a slot or two but with those attributes…..

Sometime check out Corey Brewer's defensive numbers at the three

If he’s in the game for defense, Corey should not be playing shooting forward.

Kurt Rambis is starting to remind me of Courtney Love...

You see her, and she’s totally F’ed up, but she claims to be sober. And you think, “God, I hope that’s not true. If this is you sober, you’ve got serious problems.”

If this is Kurt actually “coaching” then God, we have problems.

plus...

…his former partner is responsible for all his best material. ;)

i’ve been debating on how to put this in a post, but one of my long time theories about the nba is that there is no one more full of poo than phil jackson. he’s pitched as the zen master but if you ever listen to the guy try and talk about non basketball things (or have read his three books) he comes off as some sort of used book store philosopher…which he probably would be somewhere up in minot were it not for his basketball skills. he definitely has his finger on the pulse of how to handle nba temperaments, but i’m not sure how transferable his coaching skills are. i don’t believe there is a big phil jackson coaching tree in the nba and i’m not sure that isn’t a fluke. he’s figured out the bill simmons rule of coaching in the nba: it isn’t about the coaching. also, you don’t see phil rushing out for rebuilding jobs because he’s probably smart enough to know his shtick wouldn’t work at that level. it only works on the guys with the big egos…like himself. guys who drink their own kool aid.

Couldn't agree more...

Odd as it sounds, winning 10 NBA titles when you have Jordan, Shaq, and Kobe in their primes is not “coaching.” It’s a good example of getting out of the way appropriately.

I still believe in Kurt Rambis though. The guy was an incredibly thoughtful player and coach before he ever met Phil Jackson. If we see more of the same next year, I will become concerned, but this year has ALWAYS been about tanking.

he's not even a starter on the Gophs

So that means he would start for the Pups.

2010 Draft

Anyone who posts on here has to be a MASSIVE Timberwolves fan, right?

I am so excited about Love, Flynn, Brewer, Jefferson, Ellington and Turner.

I am holding out on Milic, I pray he stays with Minnesota but that isn’t for sure.

T’wolves are elite in 2 years.

we see you. Now get back to work.

Misspelled, but always revered! I hope he returns! I love his game.
