Recent public statements by Kahn seem to insinuate that Al is staying and Love is going, but I still find it hard to fathom that Kahn believes:
A) We should employ a fast paced offense that flows into the triangle.
B) Al Jefferson is a better fit for that offense than Kevin Love.
I could understand believing:
C) Neither Big AL or Love fit in our offense.
But there's no way Kahn can believe both A) and B) right? Right????
So in that vain, lets throw out some of the most realistic Big Al trade ideas (from past and present posters). At the very least thinking about this and/or the draft is more interesting then the current product we see take the floor each night. You'll find the deals after the Jump...
Chicago Receives: Big Al
Minnesota Receives: Granger, TJ Ford, Dahntay Jones (I believe we'd have to take on a bad salary to make this happen)
Detroit Receives: Big Al, Charlotte Pick
Minnesota Receives: T. Prince, #6 pick in draft
Memphis Receives: Monta Ellis, Jonny Flynn
Golden State Receives: Big Al, Thabeet, Utah Pick
Houston Recieves: Big Al, Ryan Gomes
Phoenix Receives: Big Al
OKC Receives: Big Al
So which deal do you like best? Which of these deals is completely un-realistic? Which deal is the worst? What are some other REALISTIC deals I haven't posted on this thread that you believe could happen?
