LeBron and why the Cavs lost

LeBron is the best player in basketball right now there is no doubt. At the age of 25 to be 110th on the NBA all time scorers is mind boggling and he should finish in the top 5 barring injury. He also is not just a scorer, he does everything for the Cavs. Who brings the ball up the court? LeBron. Who runs the offense? LeBron. Who defends the best player on the other team? LeBron. And this is where the problem lies. Yes, he is the best on his team in every single aspect of the game, but his supporting cast is pretty good. Mo Williams was an all star last year. Jamison is a nice scorer. Even Shaq can be a useful piece. So why does LeBron end up doing everything?

Like Jordan had to learn to trust his team mates to score, LeBron has to learn how to let his team mates do something. Yes, this is a bit of an exaggeration, but not much. During game 6 Doc Rivers was yelling at is team to not want to be heros, but to do their jobs. LeBron thinks his job is to do everything. By giving no one else a role besides that he makes his team worse. You would think that such an amazing player would make everyone on the team better like KG does, but somehow he actually made the Cavs worse than the sum of the parts in this series. Until he actually trusts his teammates to do more I think that he is going to have a hard time changing the way his season ends.
