Jerry Zgoda: Cousins raising some red flags

Gard your loins, DMC fetish hounds. Here's the money quotes:

"ESPN draft analyst Jay Bilas compares Cousins' situation to Atlanta's Josh Smith, a talented forward who fell to the 17th pick in 2004 because of similar doubts.

"People worried about his attitude, and he has matured pretty nicely," Bilas said. "The same sort of things apply to DeMarcus. He's not a bad kid. He's just really immature. If it was all about talent alone, he'd be the second pick, maybe even the first pick. But if you're the guardian of your team's culture, I'd let somebody else take on Cousins. He's not coachable right now, and he has not been.

"He needs a baby sitter. If you're willing to do that, fine."
