Its rumor status but I just read that (though they mixed up which team had which pick).
This sounds awful by itself. I don't see what we gain by picking up two more late draft picks when we have too many picks already. Either Kahn's master plan is coming together or we are going to do something reeeealy stupid. We'll wait and see what gets fleshed out in the coming hours. Hopefully its better than this.

It almost has to be
Trying to turn 1 pick into 2 to move one of them in connection with another deal.
Maybe it’s the 16 and 23 for 12 and 28 or 25. I could deal with that.

That's the only way
this deal makes sense. Who wants picks 25 and 28 when we can offer 16 and 23? And why would any team want 4 picks in the first round?
