From the Lynx's twitter feed. Awful, awful news.

That is bad news.
The Lynx were just finally coming together.

This sucks big time for them
This was supposed to be a year of a deep playoff run.

It is the Lynx season...
and this is major Lynx news. The team was starting to come together, with everyone mostly healthy, and the team on a winning streak. Wiggins is a big loss. Do you have a problem with a MN basketball site talking about a MN professional basketball team?
Besides, it’s nice to have a non-draft related update, even if it is bad news.

Plus I don't know about you
but I’d rather talk about the Lynx than how the Wolves will screw up the draft.

That's really too bad
She’s one of the nicest and most well-spoken athletes I’ve ever met. Last Friday, I attended a ‘Social Media in Sports’ thing at the Target Center, where Wiggins was a panelist. She talked about how athletes use Twitter and Facebook and new forms of social media. Wiggins seemed very genuine about trying to use her fame and access to help others. I was very impressed by her.
This is terrible news.
Actively looking for red flags since my 5th grade traveling team
Very True
I watched her whole college career out here in the bay area at Stanford. Its too bad to see this happen to such a great player and person.

What is with our basketball teams losing top players to injury all the sudden?
Wolves lose McCants, then Foye, then Jefferson, then Love…Lynx lose Augustus and now Wiggins…
Candice is one of the nicest people you will ever ever meet and a hell of a ball player. She and Augustus have the potential to be the Pippen/Jordan of the WNBA, but they can’t stay healthy at the same time…
