Now, I haven't heard any rumors or anything, so this is purely a thougt that occurred to me. Basically, this would solve the woes of MN in the front court, Lopez would be a perfect compliment to Jefferson and is the player we should've taken in the first place. Now, the question is: why would NJ do this? Simple, then DeMarcus Cousins would be a no brainer. Everybody wins!! We have Jefferson and Lopez in the the front court and can focus all of our attention on wings. NJ has a front court of Cousins and Love - Not sure anyone would complain about that result. Johnson falls to 4 in this scenario and we can try and package our other two picks in the first round to move up and grab Henry, who - mark my words - will be special. Watching how he handled himself and how he performed at the combine, that kid has star potential! Would we have to sweeten the deal a little to get NJ to accept, possibly, but I think we've got pieces that they might find intriguing as a role player. Or we do have those other draft picks in the first round that could be added if need be. But if we could walk away from this draft with Lopez and Johnson, even with the departure of Love, I think we'd all be happy of the upgrade. Then all we need to do get Rubio and Pekovic added to the mix and we're set to start making some noise in the near future!
