I'm excited for Summer League
I’ve got tickets to the games against the Spurs, Kings and Grizzlies. Should be fun.

Hah, too bad Evans will likely not playing in summer league
I’d like to see Tyreke, DMC and Whiteside playing out there. That’d be entertaining basketball.

Once again,
the Timberwolves have an incredible-looking Summer League roster.
If only Summer League mattered…
Starters
I would hope the starters would be
PG – Flynn
SG – Ellington
SF – Johnson

Doubt Paulo is because they have
Nene, Andy V, and Splitter all on the roster that all can play the 5. Not much need for him.

Yep
DX cited the depth at center for Brazil’s national team as a reason why Prestes is so much of an unknown. Might be a sign that he was a good stashing opportunity for us, might be a sign that he was 45th overall for a reason. Our international credentials give me confidence, though.
Also, I don’t know if this is a strategical/philosophical/whatever reason, but all of those Brazilian centers are athletic and defense-oriented players. Like, some of the best defenders at their position in the world. Paulo doesn’t really seem to fit that mold at all, being a big rebounding ox of a player. I probably wouldn’t keep him on the team either.
Did the Timberwolves submit Wesley Johnson as the SG, or was this the fellas at Ridiculous Upside?
Interesting
The fellas at Ridiculous Upside
Or rather, me – in the interest of roster balancing.
Obviously it isn’t a depth chart.

fun to watch, but I’m also looking forward to ours.
Tucker playing for Bucks
That sounds about right. It will be fun for his local fans to get to see him play for once. Still, it will be interesting to see how he performs against this level of competition. He’d have to really shine to get a spot on NBA level again.
Also, Dupree shows up for Toronto as well. Hmm, there seems to be a few more iterations coming on this page.
Some interesting stuff
-Ben Woodside is with Golden State’s team now
-Miami has both Garret Siler and Damian Johnson. If I were a fringe NBA guy, that’s where I’d go too. If Miami pulls off the 3 max free agent pipe dream, they’ll have to fill the rest of the team with minimum contracts.
-It’s rare to see a third year player as accomplished as O.J. Mayo still playing summer league. Looks like Memphis is playtesting a potential starting backcourt of Mayo/Henry.
Yeah, I was pretty surprised about Mayo, too

Let's put Love on the summer league
team and see if we can have the best record and feel like winners

Sounds good to me
The games would be more entertaining

I don't remember who wrote this (Shamsports?)
But since Memphis took a 2-guard in Henry, it might be a sign that they’re going to spend more time with Mayo at the 1. Might not be a bad idea, with all of that size and defensive potential there. They might want to spend the summer league time experimenting with Mayo in all kinds of different lineups.
A month or so ago there was a long interview with Lionel Hollins in a Memphis paper
where he basically said that Mayo was going to do this in summer league essentially to prove to him that he couldn’t play the point. Hollins made it sound like it wasn’t something he thought would work, but that Mayo had to find that out for himself.

They've been disappointed by Conley
And have no depth at PG anyway. Mayo probably will be better off as a point guard anyway….it turns his size liability into a size advantage, he’s a fairly ball-dominant player as it is, and he’s certainly got the court vision for the job. Pairing him with Henry gives Memphis some serious defense and shooting in the backcourt.
Ronald Dupree
Is now going to play with Toronto instead of Minnesota.

Summer League starts in 11 days or so.
Is it usual to have this many holes in the roster this close to the start?
"I was trying to focus on breathing," Milicic said. "I was just focusing on breathing so I didn’t die."
no, we should panic.
It’s a sign that even undrafted prospects don’t want to play for the Wolves!
(yes, it’s normal. we’ll see it come together next week.)
OK, Cheers.
And here’s me with the panic button, hammer poised over the glass……
"I was trying to focus on breathing," Milicic said. "I was just focusing on breathing so I didn’t die."
That roster has already been updated on RU
PG : Flynn, Pargo
SG: Ellington
SF: Johnson, Hayward, Mo Charlo
PF: Cedric Simmons, Deon Thompson
C; Steimsma

He is currently on international duty,
but I see at least one other member of our squad has joined summer league, so lets see.

Just looking at the Orlando Tourney Rosters
Ndudi Ebi will suit for the Sixers.
