As many of you may know by now, Coach Wooden passed away this evening in Westwood. If not for a snow storm and missed telephone call, Wooden probably would have ended up coaching at the U in the late 1940s. We can only dream of what may have been, and can only marvel at what he accomplished at UCLA. The LA Times has a nice obituary of Coach Wooden here:
