I know this is an imperfect comparison because the Celtics had Paul Pierce and he was an established star, but we have a numerous players that could turn out to be him. My hope is that Beasley can clean up everything and he will be the clear go to option right away, instead of having to default to Wade. If that is the case, then we should look at the rest of the rosters.

Next we should look at the trades that Danny Ainge was able to make. To get Ray Allen, Ainge traded away the 5th pick, Wally Sczezerbiak, and Delonte West. To get KG, they traded Big Al, Ryan Gomes, Gerald Green, Sebastian Telfiar, Theo Ratliff, and 2 first round picks.
I think the Wolves could pull off similar trades at the trade deadline or next offseason. They will likely have another Top 5 pick and hopefully it is even better, they have to get lucky once in a while.

The future can certainly be bright for the Wolves. I just hope Kahn is smart enough to see it.
