For some reason, there is an underlying current of dislike here for Kevin Love, and I don't understand where it comes from.

There are only two players on the roster who are younger than Love. One is a vastly-undersized point guard who is currently bedridden, and the other is an underachieving former college star with a history of drug use, a $50,000 fine from the league, questionable work habits and mental make-up, and after a mere two years in the NBA was given away for nothing by the team that drafted him.

Kevin Love is not only one of the youngest players on the team, he is also the best player on the Wolves, and there aren't many (if any) who are close. In fact, if every player on this team were at the same age and salary as Love, with a commensurate level of strengths and weaknesses, the Wolves would be a play-off team this year and for many more years in the future.

Kevin Love is part of the solution, not part of the problem. And until/unless the Spanish Savior joins the Wolves, Love is the face and the future of the team.
