Now that we're done thinking about how awesome America is, it's time to put our collective GM hats on our collective heads to contemplate workable trades for the Wolves--specifically, one Al Ricardo Jefferson.
The Bobcats have a bunch of money tied up in S.Jackson, Gerald Wallace, and Boris Diaw (the three of them will get 27 million total this year). They also have 12 million total tied up in Sagana Diop(!) and Nazi Mohammed(!!). Tyson Chandler isn't opting out of the 12 mill he's due to get this year, but the Bobs are open to trades for him. Also, starting point guard Ray Felton is rumored to be a top target of the Knicks. Finally, Ty Thomas is a restricted free agent--a nice young player at the right price, but he'll probably get more than Charlotte can afford to pay.
Assuming the numbers can get matched up, what about trading Sessions, Al, and Pek to Charlotte for Chandler (probably signed to an extension) and Thomas with a new, say, 5 year $40 million deal? The Wolves line-up would be:
Flynn/Random PG
Webster/WEllington
Johnson/Brewer
Love/Thomas
Chandler/Darko
Chandler's got some miles on him, but he's only 27. Darko can give him plenty of minutes to rest and recover. Thomas complements Darko as well as Chandler does for Love.
Yahh or noah?
